Castagnino Museum
Designed by BaBo Architects
The Municipal Museum of Fine Arts Juan B. Castagnino in Rosario, a historic institution, faced limitations from its original structure, lacking the versatility and amenities for a vibrant cultural space. To address this, Studio BaBo Architects entered a competition to reimagine and expand the museum into a contemporary cultural landmark. Our team created vivid 3D visualizations that illustrated the proposed design, showcasing spatial depth, nuanced lighting, and rich textures while connecting new exhibition halls with essential public areas like a café, library, and auditorium. Each visualization highlighted the interplay of light and shadow and the blend of historic and modern elements, capturing the dynamic relationship between heritage and innovation through detailed visual storytelling.
